Born and raised in North West England I studied  Art & Design focusing on abstract surrealism and early surrealist art movements such as “Dadaism”.

Artistic influences include; Max Ernst, Hannah Höch, Raoul Hausmann, Joseph Cornell, Man Ray and Jesse Treece among many others including friends and online artists.

Themes are mainly compositional but include warped connectivity between mind and reality and anxiety. A prolonged theme of covering the faces and eyes of nearly all subjects is prevalent throughout the work again reinforcing the disconnect the viewer has between the subjects within the piece and the abstraction of the piece itself.
